Gambero Rosso magazine features Salento, “the land of Negroamaro,”

Once “Italy’s best kept secret,” Salento is increasingly becoming a major food and wine tourism destination. Its growing popularity is owed — in our humble opinion — to the fact that the quality of the wines being produced here continues to attract not only food and wine lovers, but also some of the world’s leading food and wine writers, including American media.

In the last couple of years alone, for example, Cantele and Salento have been featured in Food & Wine magazine and Wine Spectator, among many other high-profile mastheads.

We couldn’t be more thrilled that our region is receiving the recognition it deserves as one of the greatest food and wine destinations in the world.

Kudos to the editors of the Gambero Rosso for their excellent feature on Salento in the March issue of the magazine! Hopefully, it will make the English-language of the magazine as well.
