Cantine Aperte: Open Cellars at Cantele Sunday, May 29

Cantine Aperte (Open Cellars) is one of the most important dates every year on the Italian wine calendar: On the last Sunday in May, wineries across Italy, from north to south, open their doors to food and wine tourists who get an inside look at how some of their favorite wines are made.

The event has been going on since 1993 and is organized by the Movimento Turismo del Vino (Italy’s Wine Tourism Association).

It’s a really fantastic experience and event and this year Cantele is taking part with a luncheon the winery is hosting in its cooking school space, iSensi (details below).
