Dinner at Marea in NYC last night was simply incredible. And the room, with its power brokers, celebs, and glitterati, was unforgettable.
Our gracious hosts treated us to a seating at the “Pavarotti” table, with a gorgeous view of the sparkling, buzzing dining room.
The crudo (above) was spectacular, but it was the langoustines (to the left) that stole the show.
Everyone in our party agreed that this was the best octopus that we had eaten all year. It’s always a favorite at Marea.
Housemade strozzapreti with lump crab topped with breadcrumbs. This dish was ridiculously good.
Sole… so simple, so pure, so fresh… so perfect…
Recommendation: get there as fast as you can!
